Eyepiece Comparison for use with 8" LX200GPS SCT
8" f10 has a 2000 mm focal length
Magnification = telescope FL / EP FL
Actual field of view (in degrees) = (Dia of eyepiece field stop X 57) / Telescope FL    In this equation, the "57" converts radians to degrees.
Exit pupil size = EP fl / scope focal ratio
Meade 2" Schmidt thread aperture is only 38 mm (1.5" dia)
Alt calc for actual field of view = Apparent field / Mag

Eyepieces in green/bold will experience vignetting when used with an 8" telescope due to the 1-1/2" fixed backplate opening.  You will get the
maximum possible unvignetted view with these eyepieces, and should consider the vignetted outer zone as a bonus.
Disclaimer: See actual eyepiece manufacturer's literature for most accurate specifications and pricing.
